I had Cedric and his crew of Meechie and Rj.
So they were on time. They were slated between 1-2pm. Called me at 1:15 and they had some trouble finding the place so I guided them in. I had to move our cars so there was a little delay getting started. I just didn’t know they were arriving. One piece of feedback I have would be call your customer and just let them know you’re on the way. I guess they were in my park for about 15 minutes or so. It wasn’t until 1:30 when they got parked and inside for me to explain everything.
I’ll admit that I wasn’t as prepared as I wanted to be. I was working from home up until the day of our move so we still had some things to “prep” to be moved. A desk, a bed, etc. Cedric and his guys were understanding. I walked them through the house and explained things and they worked around us while we finished prepping the last bit we had to “pack/prep”.
Everything was loaded up within I’d say about an hour and a half. It would have gone a lot quicker if I was 100% prepared. So I slowed them down. Never once did they complain. They helped us take apart our couches. They were very professional. They came prepared with everything they needed. They treated everything with care. I was never worried about anything being damaged. We offered them drinks and snacks - they never asked for anything but we offered because cmon it’s like 100 degrees outside. I felt like everything was loaded into the truck very quickly. Like I said, I slowed them down by not being totally ready. They didn’t waste time they hustled and never stopped working from what I could tell which is amazing considering how hot it was outside.
We confirmed the destination address which was pretty close. About a 10 minute drive. They drove to the new house, parked and got right to work. They asked where we wanted everything (upstairs vs downstairs) and were very professional and very fast unloading everything. They took care of everything, didn’t damage anything, and really hussled.
About halfway through the unload Cedric mentioned they had to hurry. I think we were running up on our time block and they had another move scheduled. But again, they weren’t careless, they took care of everything, and got the job done right and fast.
I believe they “started the clock” at 1 which was a bit soon in my opinion. I didn’t get the call that they had arrived until 1:10 and it took some time to get my cars moved for them because I didn’t know they were on their way. So at 4 Cedric had me finish the order process to release their payment and finish the move. And they worked well past 4 finishing unloading. I want to say it was about 4:30 when they were done and ready to leave. He never once asked for more money or anything like that. Which I greatly appreciate. Never asked for a tip or anything (though I did tip them because they were freaking amazing)
Overall, on a scale of 1-10, I’d give Cedric and his team a 100. They were amazing. Very professional, very polite, very funny, etc. I enjoyed talking to them, they were nice to my family, and they did one hell of a job. I felt like the price was very good as well. I hired 3 movers, A large truck, and 3 hours. I’ve already recommended these guys to my realtor and their company. I would and will recommend them any day. The next time I move (if I have to) I will 100% be using them again.
