With the exemption of having the two helpers arrive after the time schedule they did a good job. There was two times where they scratched the walls of the apartment we where about to turn in but other than that they where good

We were disappointed with our movers today. First of all they were 1 hour late in arriving because they told us they locked the keys in the truck while getting gas? The three of them showed up in street clothes, not in shirts representing Pro Touch Moving Company - not professional looking. I was told when I booked the move with Hire A Helper that professional movers were going to do the job. Head guy has 3 months experience! I was also told that they would be bringing equipment - 4 wheel dolly's, hand carts and straps to move mattresses. They showed with NOTHING. Said they were not given anything. Luckily my husband had brought his equipment. But because they were not prepared - the dragged the mattress and of course, it was torn. The young boy (13) did not know how to load a hand truck and he put too many boxes on it. He tipped it going around a corner and all the boxes fell over and I had broken dishes!! We have large heavy furniture. Fortunately, only 2 pieces were damaged. Not sure how things would have gone without our equipment.... There should have been one experienced person and no children should be allowed on the job (insurance??) Although he worked just as hard as the two adults. I would think twice about using Pro Touch again.
