They made moving so much easier. I was concerned that I hadn’t allowed enough time for the movers but my concerns weren’t necessary. They arrived early and moved quickly. They were also very kind and took note of fragile items and handled them accordingly. I would definitely go with them again.

Relocating out of state from a one-bedroom and hired Canmove on 6/14/24 at the last minute due to a no-show from a different person. Two movers showed up late, which was no biggie for me but one of the guy had an injury and couldn’t carry anything heavy.
Their style of loading the container was to dump the already packaged sealed boxes with labels in the container. The container arrived and some of the boxes were stacked on the side even though labeled, so ended up with all types of spills from cooking oils and laundry detergent was almost half empty. As a result, the sectional sofa was soaked and stained since it was just dumped on the bottom of the container, and other furniture was damaged with stains and deep scratches since the movers even refused to use the bubble wrap, sheets, and blankets I provided them.
Not an A-team, didn’t show up with any supplies or packaging materials, ended up paying for an additional hour, and still the same mover with the hand injury left earlier without notice but Canmove demanded that I pay for another hour because at this point only one of the movers was available but I refused, however, the one mover, Jesse was kind enough to help me finish up the move without additional pay, but I still Zelle’d Canmove $70 for Jesse’s efforts. The move wouldn’t have been successful without Jesse’s thoughtfulness and kindness in helping reorganize the boxes as much as possible before the container was scheduled for pickup on the same day.
It cost $546.66 plus the additional $70 for Canmove services. Now, I have to file a claim for these damages to my furniture, so might be best to source a different company for long distance move. I don't recommend Canmove, they failed to address these issues, all of a sudden they don't have info on the movers and have not followed with me after taking me to Everest, regardless, of reassuring me that this issue will be addressed.

This wasn't the A team seem to be new, we were desperate for last minute moving labor help. some furniture wound up being broken

One of the three movers Canmove sent was elderly and walked with a limp. He was only able to carry small loads, and since he had a hard time with steps, he stuck mostly to loading the garage instead of taking things up to the apartment. I also saw him drop things three different times. Because he moved so slowly, I had to help the entire time and we still went over the two hours I paid for. Shockingly, Canmove insisted that I still pay a $135 fee for the extra time he caused us to spend completing the move. The one and only reason the move took longer than 2 hours was because one of the movers the company sent was unusually slow. I paid $472 for 3 movers / 2hr. They sent one person unable to do the job I paid them nearly $500 for and still charged me another $135! Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The team of 2 people came and greeted me with a different name. I corrected them but later on, found out that they were sent to the wrong address. They were supposed to go to an apartment but came to my house without any tools. I mentioned that I have over 300lb items (refrigerator).
I gave them my body straps so that they could use it to move the refrigerator. But one person (a black African) didn't know how to use it. When I was teaching him how to use it, I could smell weed. He smoked weed before coming to work.
Also, he couldn't pick up a thing.
They scratched my floor.... now I have to file the claim.
