A1 Movers called us as a courtesy before arriving and they were on time as agreed. The young men were very approachable and very respectful. They are very hard workers and very protective of the items that were moved. Their knowledge and expertise became quite apparent when they packed the truck. Excellent workers! I highly recommend them and would absolutely hire them again.

While the workers were polite and respectful of my property I was not happy with the pace of packing the pod. The 2 inside workers were quick and efficient however I found the outside packer just standing around a lot. Also one of the workers expressed why everything was just sitting on the driveway. He commented that it should have all been packed by then. They asked for a break and one came back after about 5 minutes but the other 2 were gone for 15 minutes. As a result I ended up paying for another hour. They only went over by 1/2 hour however 15 of that was a break that I should not be paying for. After my son arrived they seemed to pick up the pace a bit. I feel like they saw an older woman alone and could stall and get me to be charged extra. I will never use them again because of this.
i really don't know what is wrong with people these days no compassion at all , and for the record your son showed up 15 minute before we finished , and he was impressed .

A-1 Movers did a fantastic job unloading our POD and moving our furniture and boxes into our new home. They communicated well throughout the day. They were on-time, professional, and careful with our items and home. They listened to any concerns I had and addressed them satisfactorily. They worked diligently for the time that I had them and met their commitments. I would highly recommend them.

100% what a move should be like. Movers arrived exactly at scheduled time (to the minute) and even showed up with one extra mover/supervisor which made everything super streamlined. The 3x guys were extremely nice, professional, efficient, and careful with everything. Finished almost a full hour early too and everything was packed amazingly. Also A-1 has one of the best prices in the area… Cannot recommended enough.

A phone call to confirm all the info we have is correct , and if there is any special needs that we can help with confirm : date, time, and location , also make sure all your questions are answered
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
