First you folks wildly underestimated the job. 4000 sq ft. 4 movers four hours? I get the push to give a low estimate. But $800 versus the over 2 k it really was. I knew you were way short (as you were a my packers ) so it was no surprise. But you ought to give legit estimates and assign legit sized crews. We prob needed 8 movers. Now to the movers. Nice kids but way inexperienced. All day they told us we’d only use 2 and a quarter of 3 pods. Then at the very end we were told they couldn’t get everything in. We had to panic junk or give away many items since we were moving the next day including a $5000 Oriental rug and excercise bike and a thousand dollar mirror which the movers missed even though I told them about it and left it on the wall, a fountain, outdoor tables , pottery and many other items Many of the left items were dear to us and if they made a correct initial assessment I may have been able to get another pod. The crew fatigued at the end and just left w the job incomplete. And during the day they were sweating and sitting on our furniture and left cold drinks on our chairs and tables leaving water marks. Again they were nice kids but not up to the job and clearly Inexperienced. But your company is most to blame w your bogus estimates and clearly no screening of the companies you use as movers. Obviously I will never use you again and will relate this to pods.
first hireahelper told you it was going to take longer than 4 hours to load a 5000 sgft home ,it says in special note to be advised the the job will take longer.
second its not our fault you didn't have enough pods to fit all your stuff
and 3rd who in the world pays 1000 dollars for a mirror i could have bought at Walmart for 29.99
its funny when someone tries to cut corners to save money ,they blame everything on everyone else but not themselves
i guess its true ,you cant make everyone happy , i have hundreds of 5 star reviews that proves this is one is a foolish review

The 2 guys from A-1 movers were great! They showed up on time and made very quick work emptying the Pod I had reserved. They worked non-stop for about 2 hours and put everything where I wanted them to quickly and efficiently. I couldn't believe how fast they were. They were friendly and nice to work with. I highly recommend them if you need no-nonsense, strong, and courteous movers!

A phone call to confirm all the info we have is correct , and if there is any special needs that we can help with confirm : date, time, and location , also make sure all your questions are answered
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
