They did a great job and they worked very hard. They arrived on time and finishes within the allotted time. I would use them again.

They were on time and hit the floor running! They had the shrink wrap I'd requested and worked hard. I had totally misjudged the time it would take to load the job. They were polite and patient with the chaos.
I would enthusiastically recommend them!

2 guys came then the "boss" showed up. He walked around for about an hour then said he had to go to another job. At that point his workers slowed considerably.
They spent the last 2 hours not doing much of anything then told us "4 hours" and stopped.
They then had to wait for about an hour for the "boss" to come pick them up.

They were hard working and very helpful with the question we had. They took there time with handling all our antiques and other furniture. I would use them again, if we move ever again.

Pros: The two movers that showed up did an awesome job! Customer service at Hire-A-Helper was awesome!
Cons: The contact person at TriCity Movers was a total flake (let's call him "Steve"). Horrible at returning phone calls/text messages. I'm talking really, really bad. I was told by Hire-A-Helper to contact Steve right away after scheduling the move. Called 3-4 times over 3 days -- no reply. Had to call Hire-A-Helper to get Steve to respond. Steve called back told me he would email me stuff to do to prepare, never did. Called him back 2-3 times again over the next 3-4 days, he never called back, emailed me or texted me the info. Was about to cancel and find someone else when he finally called.
Were they on time? They arrived about an hour late.
Were they prepared for the job? Mostly. They forgot to bring Allen wrenches (despite being told by flakey TriCity Movers contact person) but otherwise did great.
Did they work hard? Yes -- very hard.
Were they respectful of my property and goods? Yes.
Would you use them again? Sadly no. Because I can't be worrying whether they are going to show up or not because they don't call or text me back. BUT I would use Hire-A-Helper -- they RULE; I'd just pick a different mover off of their list which is SAD because the movers they sent did a great job.

The moving labor help I needed was last minute and Hire a Helper worked very hard to help me find a great company.
Tri-County movers were able to fit me in, and even though there was really no time to call and confirm my appointment, they showed up as expected. Everything went very smoothly with the timing and the move itself.
Both men from Tri- County were friendly courteous and more than helpful. They were very contentious of my property and belongings. They unloaded everything from the moving containers in under the minimum time, so they helped me assemble a bed, and move some things around to make my life easier. All the extras were their suggestion.
I would absolutely use them again.

Luis and Manny did a fantastic job for us! They arrived on time and had tools for furniture assembly, as we requested. They unloaded (6) small pods in our driveway. We had close to (40) boxes. Although we didn't have a massive amount of furniture; there was a lot of miscellaneous pieces.
The guys were upbeat, fast and personable. Both were respectful of us, our home and our stuff. They moved our new refrigerator from a lower patio and up (1) flight of stairs. This was very difficult; the doors had to come off the frig, go thru a narrow door and up a 40" wide staircase. Luis took the time to be a great problem solver.
This unloading was done on a really hot and humid day, pretty unpleasant. No whining; just smiles and hard work. You get the most for your hourly rate with this great team of helpers! I would hire Luis and Manny again, in a heartbeat.
