Mike and Eric are very hard workers with a great attitude. They skillfully handled some pretty hefty pieces of furniture. They were creative in their approach, using not only muscle, but intelligence.

Smooth Moves was excellent! They came through at the last minute to help in a very difficult situation. AJ and Steven were hard workers and respectful. There were some challenges; it was very windy and the wind kept blowing everything down the street; they did not have a hand truck or a dolly, and when Humberto went out to get one from Home Depot, apparently Home Depot did not have any. I was able to use my mother’s wheelchair and help them carry boxes, so we made it work. They both had very good attitudes.
They were hired at the last minute due to the fact that the day before I had been abused by two separate movers, one hired through SML Simple Moving Labor and the other through HireAHelper. They stranded me and my 80 year old mother with a 26’ truck full of furniture late at night in the rain. They refused to close and lock the truck’s back door after they opened it, and my furniture got terribly damaged. I was forced to close down my office the next day and rent the truck for an extra day. Needless to say, by that time I was very upset.
Smooth Moves was scheduled to be with me for four hours. When their scheduled time was up, I still had furniture and boxes left in the original apartment, which the previous day’s movers refused to move. I felt helpless, and was extremely upset. Humberto had another job scheduled, but could see how upset I was. He was very reassuring, cancelled his next job, took the boys and followed me to the original apartment. They packed the rest of my belongings, followed me back to the storage area and unloaded the truck. He didn’t have to do this but he was so incredibly kind. He truly treated me like a father figure at a time of great despair. I am so thankful that he was there. I can’t imagine how things would have turned out if it were someone else. I am tremendously grateful to Humberto and Smooth Moves. He is a true angel. They worked the entire day, from 10:30 in the morning until 930 at night, with a smile.

They were not on time but once they got there the did a terrific job. They filled a pod up floor to ceiling front to back with no gaps. It was very impressive.

Were late ( weather related ) . Once here , worked nonstop until truck was loaded . Very respectful to us and our property . Would definitely hire again .

They were here for an hour. This was an in-house move, garage to basement. The two men were courteous and helpful. Their employer needs to provide them with the right tools for the job. They should have gloves to protect their hands a give them a better grip. They should have mover's straps so they can move heavy pieces without straining their backs or stopping several times to adjust the carry. The company also needs to provide training so they will know the best and easiest way to pick up heavy or cumbersome pieces so they and the furniture are safe. Overall, I was satisfied with the help and would engage them again if needed.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
First if pre- packing items up pls make sure that it fragile items are security pack and wrap individually and labeled on the box as fragile and that every box or item is labeled with which room you would like that particular box item or piece of furniture. That makes for a smoothmove

We are big on the little things which leads to being able to successfully handle the bigger moves. How to treat ever move as if it was our owe move to a new home or office. Paying attention to the all detials makes for a smooth move
