We had two guys come in for two hours to do all the heavy lifting of furniture, washer/dryer and fridge. They packed the pod quickly and efficiently. Small damage to wall moving washing machine but nothing a little paint can’t fix. Great workers. Nice guys. Would definitely recommend!

Smooth Moves was scheduled for Monday morning, 7/20/2020. They did not call and did not show up. I called Hire a Helper to find out if they were coming, and after they made a couple calls, they called back to say 1 of the 2 movers (wife) had a baby. Hire a Helper was not able to find a replacement service for Monday. After a few calls to get information, Smooth Moves was rescheduled for Friday, 7/24/20.
On Friday morning, again, Smooth Moves did not call and did not show up. I called Hire a Helper and was told they asked the owner of Smooth Moves to call me. He did call and stated he was traveling and his mover had to rush a family member to the hospital. He said he would come on Saturday, 7/25/20 and bring a helper. On Saturday the owner did not come, but a team of 2 movers did arrive without masks. They were courteous and did complete the packing within the 3 hours I paid for. I was given a discount for the 2 days of work I lost waiting for them at the house.

Never showed up due to a “flat tire.” No alternative options offered, other than to re-schedule the next day, which was not doable as we had rented a truck for only
A day. They left us high and dry, and we had to unload a full truck by ourselves up three flights of stairs. Very poor service!!

If I seemed unsure what to do they were quick to offer good solutions. I was impressed how fast they unloaded and packed my storage unit so I can easily access what I need. How should a customer prepare for moving day?
First if pre- packing items up pls make sure that it fragile items are security pack and wrap individually and labeled on the box as fragile and that every box or item is labeled with which room you would like that particular box item or piece of furniture. That makes for a smoothmove

We are big on the little things which leads to being able to successfully handle the bigger moves. How to treat ever move as if it was our owe move to a new home or office. Paying attention to the all detials makes for a smooth move
