The movers showed up with absolutely no equipment that I requested them to bring, no shrink wrap and no tools to take apart and reassemble furniture. One left to get the shrink wrap and was gone 50 minutes, when it is 3 miles from my home while the other laid on my living room floor and listened to music. They broke my apartment door jam getting couch out and had to leave the bed because they had no tools. The boss called me and said that he would have a crew come over that afternoon and take the bed apart and deliver it, well they never showed and the boss never called abs wouldn’t answer my calls when I tried to call him. Horrible! Never again. I had to pay someone else to get my bed not worth the 430.00 paid at all

The Smooth move team was on time and very respectful young men. I would not use again because I feel they weren't prepared for the job, took extensive amount of time to unassemble furniture, didn't have the tools needed to unassemble a sofa, that with previous movers was very simple few minute process, it took them over an hour to figure it out. The young men were nice but seemed unexperienced, and with 4 movers the job took entirely too long. The owner sat in his vehicle while the crew tried to figure things out, instead of working along with them, and supervising them to assure the job ran more smoothly and timely. He only came in when the problems took too long and they couldn't resolve it. All of this I feel caused the job to take longer than it should have. Also they damaged walls in both locations and did not reassemble some furniture which was part of their fee.
This was not a good moving experience for my daughter and I, we were left trying to put furniture back together and pay for repairs to the walls. I wish this company well but in my opinion there needs to be some training of staff, coming prepared for the job with tools and all that is needed, and more focus on expediting customers hours in a timely fashion.

They were cordial, efficient, helpful and everything we could ask for from movers. They were able to pack up everything and put it into a storage pod and really filled it up to maximize the space. We couldn’t have asked for better guys to help us move. we are definitely coming back for their help in a few month when we move to our new house.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
First if pre- packing items up pls make sure that it fragile items are security pack and wrap individually and labeled on the box as fragile and that every box or item is labeled with which room you would like that particular box item or piece of furniture. That makes for a smoothmove

We are big on the little things which leads to being able to successfully handle the bigger moves. How to treat ever move as if it was our owe move to a new home or office. Paying attention to the all detials makes for a smooth move
