If you're using a POD or moving in general, I would steer clear of this business. While the crew was on time, they rushed through the job (they finished well before the end time I had booked, so it wasn't because of lack of time) and that led to a number of my items being broken. One of the mixing bowls they broke was because they stacked boxes very high on a dolly leading to the stack of boxes toppling in transit, (the boxes were marked fragile and were well packed with bubble wrap, if you're wondering). It was the sort of negligence I expect from friends helping out with a move, not professionals. It was also clear they were going to attempt to cover up the bowl breaking, I just happened to walk up when it happened. Because I had seen it, they instead left a bunch of broken glass on the curb and never cleaned it up. Overall, not a crew I would trust with my stuff.
They assured me they had lots of experience moving PODS, but did a very haphazard job of packing it and then lost the tie-down rope I had bought for them to use, so everything was just loose in the POD. I also had bought 20 moving blankets (they don't supply anything: tape, plastic wrapping etc, even though they told me all I needed to provide was blankets) and we even had to beg them to use the blankets on larger furniture. This led to significant damage to a desk, couch and dresser. They didn't break down most of the furniture and the stuff that they did was then missing screws when the POD arrived at the new location. Typically movers will at least give you a baggie of screws to sort through at the new location, but these guys didn't even have that level of follow through.
I've had a lot of moving experiences and this was the worst one. Movers are supposed to help reduce the stress of a move and these ones made my move significantly worse/more nerve-wracking.
