The first guy showed up smelled like weed, not dressed for the job. Said he could start up some stuff. Had him start wrapping and some pieces of furniture after seeing him struggling to a horrible job. I asked if he'd ever wrap before and he said no. The two other guys came and did the furniture. They did a good job. However the manager boss came and was starting to rush the other guy into doing stuff he was not capable of. He was putting multiple metal pieces of a desk together that would be scratched. The manager then told me metal does not scratch on metal and wood does not scratch on wood. Overall for being movers I thought they would have had more straps and stuff to get down the stairs but it was a struggle each time. We had two pods and wanted the big furniture in the back to make sure we got them in and then could stack other things on top. The manager just wanted to rush the other guy and told him to start putting stuff in the pot or sitting it outside. We had plenty of room inside and nothing was in the way. The managers sat in his car for about half the time. Then when my wife complained about the weed smell in the bedroom he denied it.
Hire helper so there'd be a uniformed crew. No one was in a uniform The two guys didn't even know the other guy. Very unorganized had to watch them every step of the way to ensure nothing was damaged and put the right place.
