Here is my honest review and hopefully it helps another customer with the teetering decision making.
My experience unfortunately was not as great as other reviewers. I initially had three movers scheduled for 5 hours. I added an additional mover after discussions with the owner/dispatcher. Unfortunately I believe that 3rd and 4th person were not experienced movers. All 4 movers did show up on time and a couple of them a bit early ahead of schedule. None of them had uniforms, which is not a big deal. The handling of some of my furniture was not ideal. I saw some of them drop furniture while going down stairs and handling furniture incorrectly while transporting from house to containers. Not properly packaging furniture (appeared to be winging it). We have some expensive pieces of furniture, including that of solid wood, glass, TVs and and an expensive couch’s being transported from the certain areas without being properly wrapped first. One of the movers damaged a piece of furniture because they didn’t handle it properly. I’m unsure of any additional damages until I can unpack the container.
I had to disassemble the 4 bedroom bed frame sets myself. I had reiterate that the bedroom sets were a priority. The owner/dispatcher attempted to stop the workers at 4 hours when I had 5 hours booked. The main mover appeared to be more experienced in moving home goods. Overall the experience did not feel like a professional job. It felt more through together of personnel at the last minute. I would have liked my furniture handled with better care, more structural planning (instead of winging it), and just a more professional atmosphere. The team of movers were very nice and attempting to move as fast as possible, but the coordination was not up to par for my preference.
