Isaac was great, unfortunately the helper he had with him was very slow and to be honest somewhat lazy. Isaac kept having to call him to see where he was and what he was doing. All in all the heavy lifting was truly appreciated.

I scheduled 3 helpers for 10 AM to 1 PM service.
One arrived by public transportation at 10:30 AM
and wasn't sure how he was to be paid. It was suggested by his
"boss"(which by the way is Dutch and spelled backwards is double "S-O-B")
that the customer would pay him in cash even though the service was prepaid
by credit card, and the other two "helpers" arrived at 3:15 and 3:30 respectively
after supposedly driving at break neck speed from Gig Harbor, 78 miles away.
These two "helpers" let us know at 1:00 PM that they would be arriving at 3:24 PM. I was driven by them to an ATM machine to make sure they got their $20
tips after they did one thing: Moving a relatively light spinet piano which myself
and my 10:30 guy could have done if necessary. I was charged the full amount
of the original agreement minus $100 and was told that that was to be my own
compensation for doing half the job myself and for 6 hours. A partial refund and an apology wouldn't have been amiss, but there it is. Thanks for the interest. You can be sure it won't happen again. Well done.

The 3 three movers I had (sorry I am not good with names) were careful with my belongings. They helped with a few odds and ends that I would have been unable to complete on my own. I appreciated their help.

I would not recommend using Muscle Movers, they made our move infinitely more stressful. I drove a moving truck from SAn Francisco to Seattle and had arranged for to Muscle Movers to meet me at 9am in a Saturday; 1 person showed up. That person, their COO of the company told me the other person got a flat tire and he couldn’t get ahold of his cousin, the CEO to determine if they could replace the person. After about 45 minutes of waiting the COO leaves and I’m dealing with the CEO by text and the staff at Hire a Helper. The CEO if Muscle Movers was too busy with conference calls to speak with me (sure). By text he assures me 2 people will arrive between 12-12:30; they also no show. CEO wants me to keep waiting for them and seems shocked when I cancel my reservation, after waiting for them for 4 hours. CEO then tries to make me feel like the unkind, uncaring person when someone in their staff was just involved in a serious car accident and was in the hospital, first time I heard that, and that morning it was a flat tire. At that point I did t believe anything g he told me, especially when he couldn’t even take a moment to speak with me live and he hid behind text messages and would go long periods of not answering. As a result of all this I was unable to return my moving van on time and had to pay an additional day ($150) and my move that day took 8 hours vs 3 hours.
On a positive note, Hire A Helper helped me find another mover on a Saturday and they were great. They also encouraged me not to wait to reschedule with another vendor and I was foolish enough to trust Muscle Movers, that they would actually arrive at 12-12:30, I should have listened to them hours earlier.

I booked 2 movers, but only 1 showed up. This was a problem, since we could not complete my move with only 1 extra worker. However the mover who showed up, DionneRay was amazing- he worked extra hard to make up for the other one not showing up. Unfortunately, when I asked for a refund for the missing worker, Hire-A-Helper initially tried to only refund me for 25%, (instead of 50%) of my total move. Eventually they did refund me for the 50% , but it took 3-4 phone calls.

These two guys Pierre and William were professionals and knew how to work fast and efficient. They respected our stuff and helped us with making smart choices. I would happily hire them again and recommend them to everyone else
