I recently used MD Expert Movers to load up a moving pod, and they were so helpful. One of the movers spent almost an hour (!) helping to take apart my bed frame to pack in the pod, and they somehow still packed up everything in two hours. Although they arrived a little late, they called me in advance to let me know that their previous job was running behind.

They arrived when they said they would. Worked without stop for their entire allotted time. They were professional, and respectful of our property. We had a few items that were too tall for the container and feared laying them on the sides would eat up too much space but the movers were still able to fit the needed items, showing their experience with packing PODs containers.

I liked the boys . They were nice and polite. The lead guy explained all and they were quick and efficient. Didn't have to worry about a thing. I even took a short nap while they were there. Recommend that crew to any one else that was planning on moving. They were great.

I will say that I under-booked hours which is on me & the customer service rep that recommended going with 2 hours. It ended up taking 3 and that was with me helping some (which I was prepared to do / was part of my plan). So I ended up paying for the extra hour.

The POC for the company, Sara, was incredibly helpful on our call the day prior, walking me through each step and helping me understand what to expect. The guys who showed up *far exceeded* those expectations. They were amazing! From the moment they arrived until they left, they were communicative, responsive, and worked super hard. Mine was a partial house move and they took the time to understand what stayed and what was going, as well as any issues with each item. I had a few very heavy items, which they handled with ease. I also had several antique and fragile furniture, with which they were incredibly careful and took their time to make sure these pieces were wrapped and secured well in the POD. They were also extremely careful navigating the halls and didn’t make a single ding or dent in the walls. And their packing of the POD was like magic; I’ve never seen such great use of space! Wonderful all around. Highly highly recommend this company!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
