Domonick and Kevin were awesome. They were prompt, got to work immediately and were very efficient. They actually finished early. I needed help loading a POD and wasn't sure how much furniture would fit or the time it would take. I guessed 4 hours since I had a number of large pieces that had to be brought down stairs. They really knew how to load a POD and got over double the amount of furniture loaded than I expected. This was a huge time savings for us. They used care with everything loaded and there was no damage in the house. The weather was drizzly and I was worried about damage to the furniture. I had furniture pads but they brought some wrapping material and tape and assured me everything would be kept dry.....and it was. I plan to use them again in the future when I need the POD unloaded. I would highly recommend them. Great job!

We hired two helpers and they were on time, very nice and professional. They brought packing take and paper and used ther blackets that i provided to wrap all my wood furniture. They were able to get the container loaded and tied down within the two hours. I would definitely use them again.

Kevin and Dominique were great. They arrived on time (a few minutes early) and we're ready to go. They were efficient and courteous and managed to finish the job quickly. They were also helpful in helping me park the rented truck. Overall great job and worth it.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
