The guys were really nice and worked really hard.
Very professional and know what they are doing when it comes to packing and unpacking.

This is the second time I have used Helping Hands. And maybe it is not fair to compare but.......
Yes, these men were on time, in fact early, which was perfectly fine, in fact wonderful. they were very prepared for the job and came ready to work. they were very respectful of our property and goods as well as respectful to us as a customer.
However, one of the men, I'm thinking possibly the owner of the company, moved very slowly. We wound up emptying our pod for the most part ourselves. Luckily we had a huge support group who really worked harder than the company we hired to "help". There were some issues with the elevator not being readily available, however, we were charged an extra two hours. It did cost $400+, but they did move in the big items and set them where they needed to be set. I'm thinking I would have probably had them just do that for an hour while we did the rest. Not sure how many hours we would have been charged if I did not have the helpers I did not hire. Footnote, their second job for that day was cancelled, so there was not rush.

Very solid hard working crew who are very professional and do not take a minute off. I highly recommend them and as a move manager I have seen a lot of different crews come through - this was by far the best company and crew I have used. Will work with again.

They came on time and were moving things the whole six hours they were here. I was disappointed that they didn't come with shrink wrap or other things to protect the furniture as I was told on the phone. At one point, one of the workers assumed he knew how to dismantle the dining room table and was very rough with it, I am sure the table would have been ruined beyond repair if I hadn't asked him to stop. My husband had asked them when they first arrived to please concentrate on putting the large pieces of furniture in first and boxes last, as we would be able to take care of boxes if we ran out of room in the PODS, but would not be able to do anything with the large pieces of furniture. One of the workers assured me all would be fine doing it his way. I asked them twice more about fitting the big furniture in as the hours went by, and was assured each time, he knew what he was doing. All the big pieces did not get in the PODS and we are now stuck trying to find a way to get the big pieces out of the house. They also slid large pcs of furniture on a hardwood floor causing at least one big gouge. I thought they should have known that sliding things on a hardwood floor is an absolute no-no. Because they worked constantly the whole 6 hrs, I gave the 3rd star on the rating. Disappointed.

These guys were GREAT! They were available the same day I called (I wasn't sure that was going to be possible!). The two men who came were prompt, courteous, strong, fast, respectful. The worked really hard to get my truck unloaded fast. Nothing broken. Very professional. I'd use them again, and I'd recommend them to anyone, with complete confidence.

I hired four men and it was so worth it! They were done in two hours. I had lots of stuff in two locations, one building, and was dealing with difficult truck parking in the financial district. All done with surprising ease. I've hired them before and I would do again.

I can't complain about the service, although the movers were not ready for the rainy day and didn't have anything to cover their shoes in order to move furniture on my new carpet. (I'm happy that Verizon tech was working at the same time and he offered some shoe covers)

Edgar, Eme and Timothy were on time, professional, worked very hard and completed the job in much less time than I thought they'd need. They were delightful! I would not only use them again, I'd recommend the three of them to all my family and friends.

The two gentlemen sent to load my 1BR apartment were nice enough however they had NO knowledge about how to load a truck. I was told almost immediately I did not have the right size truck and that my shipment would not fit. I spent significant time locating a second truck as well as a tow hitch to get my vehicle back to my destination. My husband had to guide the packers about how to load the truck and had to instruct them on where and how to place each and every item. We were ultimately able to fit everything in the truck and canceled the second reservation but it was a very stressful day because of this. They also dragged my furniture and rubbed it against door frames, disrupting the preparatory wrapping to protect the furniture. Would not use them again.
