good job. would recommend that in the future that the workers wear shoe coverings when going in and out of the home, as well as up and down the stairs to prevent spot from shoes causing dirt marks on carpet and floors.

We pushed our time back to 10 am arrival to avoid any late arrival issues. One of the 3 guys we hired finally showed up at 10:20 and and the other 2 showed up at 10:40. I still had to pay them for 2 hours even though they were there less than an hour. Then when I didn't release the payment straight away and "inconvenienced" them, they called me ridiculous. People only care about things when it's happening to them, no consideration for us now racing to catch our flight that we almost missed because we were already cutting it so close, which was clearly explained at the time of scheduling with them. Hire A Helper claimed the arrival time window was 10-11 to which I explained that's their platforms only booking option, a 1 hour window. But we were explicitly clear on our needs of a 10 am arrival because of the scheduled flight...and y'all still got it wrong??! Smh. It was very frustrating and changes the whole vibe of your moving day (not in a good way) and could have so easily been avoided. You're grown men, adults, Life 101, show up to work on time.

This was the worst and longest move I've ever had and the ironic part is this was the smallest place I've lived in. The guys were nice enough and showed on time. They arrived around 10:40AM, I showed them all of the boxes and bins that needed to be moved, the tv that needed to be removed from the wall and the two bed that needed to be taken apart. Initially, it seemed like they were moving at a reasonable pace, but after 2.5 hours into the 4 hours scheduled, I noticed the TV was still up and the beds hadn't been taken apart. I started to take apart the beds, they then returned from the moving truck and said they would finish the job. It took them twice as long to take down the beds as it took me, also they brought tools that were dead, so they ended up using my power tools. Once they were nearing the 4th hour they had just a few items left, so the lead mover told me they would need approximately 1 more our and they could finish the remaining work if I paid them $100 cash. Since my fiancé had already left for our new place, I decided it was my best option. They ended up taking two hours instead of 1, then when the job was almost complete he tried to negotiate $250 instead of the agreed upon $100. He eventually accepted the $100+ $60 tip, but they didn't leave until almost 6PM and there were still items I had to pack separately in my car as they didn't put them in the moving truck. Over 7 hours to move a 2 bed 2bath apartment is madness. My last move, I had guys load my 4 bed room house and unload at my new house in the same amount of time.
Once I made it to my new state and unpacked the truck the next day, I noticed they laid one of the TVs flat on the couch cushions and put my kid's hoverboards on top of the TV without the box or moving pads I had provided. My newer 50" SmartTV is completely broken, in addition to my lampshades, and my bookshelf.
I said all of that to say.... Don't waste your time booking this company. Pay the extra money and book a reputable moving company that will save you time, unaccounted fees, and heartache.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
It’s best if everything is already packed away and to empty any dressers. The drawers in the dressers should be tapped down so they don’t open if not wrapped. Once we arrive sit back and relax.
What types of moves have you handled?
We’ve done all types from local to out of state. From jobs that require one item being moved to jobs that have taking 8hours. We don’t stop until it’s done.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Seeing the smiles we put on people’s’ faces. A lot of our customers are impressed with our packing ability & continuous efforts to stay moving. Nothing better than knowing we made someone life a lot easier & less stressful.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We teach all members our basic packing strategies & moving techniques. Each new member goes on jobs with a certified mover until they themselves become certified mover.
