Quan and Dre did a really good job. The job took longer than I expected (they were able to stay past the allotted time to make sure I was all set) but they were loading a truck I had rented and they took care to load it in such a way to keep items from shifting around (I had furniture pads but no straps) which I appreciated.

They sent three young men that just didn’t have the strength and stamina needed to do the job. This is not a reflection on the movers themselves, but on the company. They should be more careful with the team they select to do a job. I have used movers many times over the years but I have never been disappointed until this move. They took way too long because they ran out of steam after a couple of hours and damaged floors and furniture. They were even going to leave before putting our sectional and beds back together. I would not use them again.

So glad we went with Step By Step to help us with our move! We are getting out of the military and moving from Stafford VA to NC. Deandre and Kwan arrived perfectly on time and were SO helpful in helping us load all our items (even some really heavy ones) into the moving truck. They were super professional and friendly. What types of moves have you handled?
We are a very experience crew, we have moved local offices and even 5-6 bedroom homes for some of our clients in the past. We moved very heavy safes, and grand pianos up and down stairs as well.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My Favorite part is making the moving process simple for my customer, because most of them are stressed about about the process initially.
What training do you provide your crew members?
How to be to organized the day before & day of the job. We do hands on workshops every Monday on Communication skills, New Techniques for moving & Safe Handling practices.
