Kiki's Movers were awesome! They were able to come early, brought an extra person, and moved A TON of stuff very quickly, taking care to ensure that nothing was damaged. I honestly couldn't believe how much they were able to fit in the POD (16'); they definitely saved us from having to get another one. Everyone in the "crew" was very friendly and extremely hard-working. I highly recommend them.

I hired Kiki’s Movers through Hire a Helper. Prior to my move Kiki’s Movers repeatedly tried to convince me to cancel my move through Hire a Helper and book with them directly. This was just my initial experience with how deeply unethical Kiki’s Movers is. Notwithstanding the fact that I confirmed my move multiple times with Kiki’s Movers, my movers did not show up within the agreed upon window. At the end of the window, they sent me a text saying they were already there or would soon be there — they were not and did not show up for several more hours. I repeatedly called the company and was assured the movers were on their way. Eventually Kiki’s Movers stopped responding to phone calls and texts. Only after reaching out to Hire a Helper and stating that I would file a claim against both companies for my $1,000+ in out-of-pocket costs (not including the fee to Hire a Helpers) did the movers finally show up, nearly 3 hours late. They brought 4 people instead of the 2 agreed upon and claimed they would give me a deal and only charge me for 3. Desperate at this point, as my city moving permit was about to expire (due to Kiki’s Movers late arrival), I agreed. One of the movers appeared to sit in his car for most of my move, so it was anything but a deal. I also rarely saw more than two movers working. Do not use Kiki’s Movers!

A customer should prepare for moving day by keeping in communication with their assigned contact, and ensuring that our company has a good idea of what we will be moving, where we will be moving it from, if anything needs to be packed or wrapped, and any other obstacles we may face when completing the service so that we can have the proper tools and professionals to handle the move.
