The movers Lloyd's sent to us saw our job as a personal inconvenience.
1. Showed up high (it was quite obvious from the smell they smoked before they started). While physically able to do the job, the loading was done poorly and we were forced to leave more furniture behind than anticipated.
2. They were requested to bring tools; they brought a drill. They refused to use a wrench or screwdriver, despite it being provided.
3. They just stopped. Literally, thought the job was done. Then smoked again. In front of my house, with my kids home. All this happened while I loaded a couch, 2 tables, 4 chairs, 2 bikes, a handful of rugs and several other smaller pieces of furniture/boxes.
In summation, the number one priority was to smoke on the job. They did not disassemble things they did not want to and just abruptly ended working, delaying my cross country move several hours as I had to do finish it myself. Use Lloyd's at your own risk.

Mover's response:
As a professional I will never disrespect a customer, but I feel compelled to say something. I am a professional and I operate as such, I would never show up to a job "high" nor would I smoke on the job. Also, per the order I was not requested to bring my tools to dissemble any items. Please remember to include everything you want done in the order, because we have a busy schedule. Lastly, It is extremely irresponsible to accuse any person or business of things that could damage their reputation, especially if the claims are unfounded as was the case in this situation. We loaded carefully & did not damage any items. All of this was acknowledged & confirmed by a HAH representative. I encourage all future customers to read all of our reviews on hireahelper and google to come up with their own opinion. Thank you for your time.

Lloyd and his team are great. They loaded my 16ft POD in 2 hours and organized well ,such that the space is effectively utilized.I would definitely recommend.

They were courteous, arrived on time and worked hard moving items into the storage pods. The issues are with how poorly they loaded the storage pods. There were crushed boxes, unused available spaces and didn't use any of the moving blankets provided. I wouldn't recommend using them unless you are available to guide them on how to load things. Also, the stair nose on most of the stairs was gouged.

Thank you for your feedback, both positive and constructive. We are glad to hear that the crew arrived on time and put in a great amount of effort. Due to other job obligations, I (Jeremy) was not onsite during this particular load. Instead, I entrusted another crew member to complete this order. It is my goal for every job to maximize the space provided and complete the job quickly & efficiently. Also, I feel compelled to mention I did reach out, unfortunately I got no response. We would like to reassure future customers that we load carefully to ensure your belongings are safe & secure during transit. These guys were great! We live on a third floor up 4 flights of narrow stairs and they were able to get our furniture up the stairs extremely fast and we’re very nice and professional! I would rate them higher if I could!

Absolutely great. I'm one picky MOFO and these dudes arrived on time, and packed the PODS like Beavers, fit stuff in every nook and cranny. THey wrapped all furniture with wrap and ensured it was all packed tight so nothing is falling over. Great Job. Will use them again.

I am super impressed with Jeremy and Mike from “Lloyd’s Moving” from the moment Jeremy initiated contact with me. Jeremy and Mike unloaded a 15 foot U-Haul truck into a storage unit in an hour! They are super
efficient and the BEST movers I have hired. They utilized every square inch of the storage space and stacked a ton of boxes all the way to the ceiling. I would highly recommend hiring “Lloyd’s Moving” for your next move!

These guys did a great job. In all the confusion of the load. They were able to get all of our heavy items out of the house and to the curb. (we were not taking all of our furniture) It was put out for repurposing.

Anyway, they did a great job... the frustrating part was the fact that it took 40 minutes for them to get thru to their hireahelper to get the final okay for them to complete. I found that to be frustrating for the helpers ~ and for us ~ we couldn't move onto our next thing until that part was done.

The helpers did a great job !!

They started out doing an awesome job and packed the first half of the POD great. The second half not so much. They seemed to rush to finish (even though I was paying them for an additional half hour) and did not fit all of our things in. My husband and I spent 2 1/2 hours repacking and were able to fit everything in. Not exactly what I paid for.
