45 minutes late, charged full 2 hour fee despite only working for <1hr. I had had a strict time limit to loading dock of 2 hours and so had to move quite a bit myself. Rude and sloppy.

They showed up late, but other than that they were good and got the job done.

The workers worked hard while they were here. One worker (Andre)really seemed to know what he was doing. The other did not. When we made initial contact with S&L Express, we asked if two workers would be enough for our job, giving the exact perameters of what we needed done. They said that it would, but we probably could have used four people. If they had suggested this, we certainly would have done it, and the job would have progressed more smoothly.

Our moving labor helper, Trent, arrived exactly on time & jumped right into the heavy lifting. He worked without a break. And when he was done, with time remaining on his two hours, he asked if there was anything else he could help us with. I'd also like to add that the owner of S&L, LaShawn was very professional -- following up my reservation with a phone call & calling the day before the move to reconfirm. I would absolutely recommend S&L!

The two movers were incredible and fast. They were very calm as well, helping us relax after a big state to state move. Would recommend to my best friends.

We have mixed feelings about our helpers. They were very diligent. They worked hard all day and really didn't take many breaks. They also stayed an extra two hours when we found out we were not going to finish moving our belongings within the four hours that we originally hired them for. They seemed to be packing the truck efficiently and at the time we were happy with how everything was going. It is what we noticed when the unpacking began that made us feel a bit uneasy. Much of our furniture was damaged in the move. We provided moving blankets which they only used a few of, and two dollies which they chose not to use at all. Most of the damage can be touched up by spending a little money and some time, but it still is frustrating. We work hard to have nice furniture and now we have scratches, gouges, a corners missing, etc. We are also upset about another situation that happened during the move. We moved into a rental house, so we have to worry about losing our security de

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
