They were late, complained the entire time about the job, sprayed essential oils all over my apartment and furniture (without permission), used tape on inappropriate surfaces (ruined several pieces of furniture). The first hour and a half only the younger guy was actually working to bring things out of the apartment. The older guy was walking around doing nothing and trying to look like he was working. I’ve had movers load way more stuff in way less time and have never had issues with any other moving companies like I did with them. I will definitely not be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
Mainly misted in Air to keep DUST particles down ............... This is the First time Client Moved out of that particular Home. It can't compare it to other Moving scenarios. #notfare ...............Also the First Time During the Pandemic that somebody complained about cleanliness............................. What was perceived as walking around doing nothing was us sizing up the job So it could be packed properly the first time. It was a masterful & tight pack...... All 5 family members who sat on the curb the whole job couldn't believe we got it all in there. Things have to be situated - interlocked & Gaps filled so nothing is left behind.... It's not a matter of just placing things in the Truck. Client should have more Respect for Essential Workers & their Craft.

I Highly recommend ASAP Moving & Junk Removal. Best helpers I’ve come across hands down. After quick game plan they got to work quickly, fit everything I needed into my 16’ POD. The Tetris fitting style was top notch and our stuff will make it cross country no problem. Thankful for the help I got today, thank you very much!!

You're going to want to read this whole thing, I promise. I'll start with the positives! Eric seems like a genuinely nice guy. That's the only upside of my experience. However, I was looking for qualified and responsible movers, not just a nice guy. I emailed all the details INCLUDING that I hired them because they advertise their feature of THREE guys instead of other companies that only offer two men. I was on a tight schedule and knew 3 guys could knock this out, or so I thought. I had about 10 pieces of small/average furniture, no boxes, just needed help with some items that were too cumbersome to move alone (I'm a 140lb female and had already moved every item myself once before and didn't want to do it alone again). Every item to be loaded was ground level, Only 4 items went upstairs upon delivery, everything else was downstairs. Eric asked for an earlier start time than 10am but only had my truck rental from 10am-1pm so I couldn't accommodate a revision to the booking.. At 10:05am on moving day I got a text saying my appointment was changed from 12p-1pm arrival time. Didn't get a response from Eric until he randomly showed up at 11:30 and said "Oh sorry I had a rough night, we'll get this knocked out for you, no worries - we got this". He showed up with only one other kid who he was TEACHING how to do the job, not even an experienced mover. Not the 3 guys advertised. He said "I'll get you a discount and cut your rate etc, " since I had to pay extra to extend my truck rental and he didn't deliver on what I signed up for. Anyway, I'll wrap this up - they tore a hole in my mattress, put two large gaping scratches in my armoire, chipped off an entire corner of my dresser drawer and left my furniture on the floor in positions I couldn't move myself after they left. They were SO SLOW that I just started moving furniture out of the truck myself. As he was wrapping up the job that took 3 hours, not only did he not cut the rate or compensate for the additional fees I had to pay for truck rental, he said "I"m not going to charge you the extra hour, I actually saved you a bunch of money by being late so I did you a favor". My jaw hit the floor. I told him I paid for 3 movers and 3 guys should have been able to knock this out in less than 90 min and he said (I kid you not) "No it would have taken longer with a third guy because he would have just stood around and been in the way". So they advertise 3 guys as a leg up on other companies but then tell you the third guy is useless when they arrive without one. Do yourself a favor, hire actual professionals. If you need Eric to come over and move a couch for you, maybe that's more his speed. If you need punctuality, skill, responsible business practices and professionalism, look elsewhere.

The 3 movers I had were awsome. They were on time had all their supplies needed. They cleaned all of our furniture before wrapping it. They packed our truck tightly and secured each row with straps and rope. They locked the entire load by placing the mattress and bed frame at the back and securing it with my tie down straps. I drove 600 miles and when it came time to unload not a single item had shifted. I only had one broken item he glas on one picture which I didn't wrap appropriately.
They were great and I would use there services again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Relief & professionalism. They also can expect to get more items in their POD or Pack-rat / Rental Truck than they expected. They should expect to save a bunch of money on PODS and the Amount of PODS they need to move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A Early arrival & communication. A day %100 dedicated to getting their job done in a efficient time with no damages or mistakes.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have blankets! If you are renting a POD or Pack-Rat Be sure to tell them to throw 1-2 dozen blankets in the container before its delivered. Most of the time they don't even charge you. Also gather any washable blankets , sheets or towels we can use for protection... This way you don't have to break the bank on blankets. We also have started to use Boxes from Home depot. Lowes or Walmart. We can cut the boxes open and use them for TV crating, protection of Glass & Surfaces for stacking.
What types of moves have you handled?
NYC jewelry store to LA, NYC home building associations , residential moves, Las Vegas Convention Center (Santee Cosmetics), Oz mannequins + Commercial Appliance Moves. I also moved Rosie O'donnel & Michelle Rounds & many other celebs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
New scenery & meeting cool. interesting nice people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We watch you tube moving self help videos to stay fresh & consider new techniques to add to our skill sets. We also stretch daily & incorporate cardio into our lives to stay conditioned.
