My 2-man crew was great! Very professional, courteous and efficient. We used ASAP to move a bunch of heavy furniture from our house to a storage facility. This includes some big items from the second floor and basement, one of which I'm still not sure how they fit it down the stairs! They wrapped all the heavy items and, with our help on smaller stuff, we filled a 26 foot truck and emptied it in a second floor storage unit in 3.5 hours. 100% worth the expense, I'd recommend them for any moving job!

The men were mostly on time (15 min late is no big deal). They were well prepared. I hired 3 and ended up with 5. The packing was done in less time than I had hired them for. Great brut force work but not high quality in my opinion. Can get most of the work done correctly. The boxes were not labeled. I would hire them to unpack what they packed. The job was done very fast! Good job overall!

The 2 men were strong, courteous and handled the furniture and boxes with care. They had to disassemble and assemble my couch and bed which they did cleanly with care. Nice job!

I was disappointed in the lack of communication between ASAP movers and Hire a Helper dispatchers. We waited for 2 hours in the cold for the movers, it was the fault of Hire a Helper for not giving the correct address. Many changes were made in the weeks prior to the move. I was told all the updated information was in my file. Apparently that was not the case. I was given a $50.00 discount, for my two hours of freezing. Big deal. The movers were great. How about returning more of my money? Second thoughts about using Hire a Helper again.

I ordered for labor help for loading my things and was surprised with the professionalism the boys showed. I was extremely happy with the service - would definitely recommend them for any loading or unloading services. They took extreme care of he fragile items and other directions that we gave them.

Recently moved into the city with a full one bedroom truck. After a long cross country drive, our two movers called when they were on their way, met us at the exact location, and sized up all our belonongs. They gave a very accurate time estimate and got to work right away. A 4th floor walk up with several large pieces of furniture was effortless for them. Nothing was damaged and there was no damage to the building. Would hire again!! Great price and a great value!!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Relief & professionalism. They also can expect to get more items in their POD or Pack-rat / Rental Truck than they expected. They should expect to save a bunch of money on PODS and the Amount of PODS they need to move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A Early arrival & communication. A day %100 dedicated to getting their job done in a efficient time with no damages or mistakes.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have blankets! If you are renting a POD or Pack-Rat Be sure to tell them to throw 1-2 dozen blankets in the container before its delivered. Most of the time they don't even charge you. Also gather any washable blankets , sheets or towels we can use for protection... This way you don't have to break the bank on blankets. We also have started to use Boxes from Home depot. Lowes or Walmart. We can cut the boxes open and use them for TV crating, protection of Glass & Surfaces for stacking.
What types of moves have you handled?
NYC jewelry store to LA, NYC home building associations , residential moves, Las Vegas Convention Center (Santee Cosmetics), Oz mannequins + Commercial Appliance Moves. I also moved Rosie O'donnel & Michelle Rounds & many other celebs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
New scenery & meeting cool. interesting nice people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We watch you tube moving self help videos to stay fresh & consider new techniques to add to our skill sets. We also stretch daily & incorporate cardio into our lives to stay conditioned.
