Admittedly I called on the morning of the day I needed the help. I was told the crew would be there around 4-5 pm, but they did not arrive until 7:30, which was not helpful. I had grown frustrated and was wondering if they'd ever actually show up so unloaded the whole truck myself except for the piano. When they did arrive they were hard working and willing. Unloaded and moved the piano into the house very efficiently and professionally. They followed my partner's directions and reorganized the garage over the next hour or so.
They worked hard and had a good attitude. My only issue was with the timing. Waiting for so long is very frustrating when you have much to accomplish.

ASAP provided and excellent service, especially given the context of the service. ASAP was providing last minute backup service due to the failures of marketing organization that subcontracts with them.
That organization, Hire A Helper, was unprofessional, unresponsive and initially provided services that were never on time, never properly equipped. They and their first chosen subcontractor Affordable Moving should be avoided at all costs.

They were a little late, but they CALLED ahead of time, which is all that mattered to me. I appreciated that.
They were absolutely prepared for the move: they had a great dolly, simple equipment like movers' gloves, etc.
These guys were friendly, professional, hard-working, efficient, considerate, and patient. They showed tremendous respect for my property and family.

The movers were on time and confirmed the night before. They worked hard and loaded everything efficiently. The only thing, they did not bring any equipment with them. Luckily we had everything they needed to wrap things properly. I would recommend them, but be prepared to have your own supplies.

These guys were great. Would love to have them every time I move!! I would give a higher rating if I could. They were prompt, curtious, and worked. They did everything we asked. Wish all movers were like them but sadly they aren't.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Relief & professionalism. They also can expect to get more items in their POD or Pack-rat / Rental Truck than they expected. They should expect to save a bunch of money on PODS and the Amount of PODS they need to move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A Early arrival & communication. A day %100 dedicated to getting their job done in a efficient time with no damages or mistakes.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have blankets! If you are renting a POD or Pack-Rat Be sure to tell them to throw 1-2 dozen blankets in the container before its delivered. Most of the time they don't even charge you. Also gather any washable blankets , sheets or towels we can use for protection... This way you don't have to break the bank on blankets. We also have started to use Boxes from Home depot. Lowes or Walmart. We can cut the boxes open and use them for TV crating, protection of Glass & Surfaces for stacking.
What types of moves have you handled?
NYC jewelry store to LA, NYC home building associations , residential moves, Las Vegas Convention Center (Santee Cosmetics), Oz mannequins + Commercial Appliance Moves. I also moved Rosie O'donnel & Michelle Rounds & many other celebs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
New scenery & meeting cool. interesting nice people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We watch you tube moving self help videos to stay fresh & consider new techniques to add to our skill sets. We also stretch daily & incorporate cardio into our lives to stay conditioned.
