My husband and I were very pleased with the crew that was sent from HireAHelper. I called the day before and I was able to book them for the next day. They were organized, efficient, courteous and very careful with my furniture and other items they had to move. They called me to let me know they were running an hour late, which I appreciated. They came prepared for the job and they worked very hard. I would definitely re-hire them and recommend them to anyone.

Worked hard, didn't break anything, efficiently loaded truck with 3 rooms of furniture and unloaded in under 3 hours. Refunded the extra hour I had paid for within minutes of calling. What more can you ask for?

They were late and arrived over an hour after the designated time. Their manager was mistaken on their proposed arrival time, however, when the three young men arrived they were great workers, respectful of my things and they were prepared with dollies. I would definitely use them again

the two men that came to help were very nice and friendly. They had to move our furniture from our third floor apartment into a shipping unit that was parked far from the apartment. Not only did they not complain about this unfortunate circumstance, but they still did the job on time and efficiently. They were also experts in the actual packing of the unit to ensure our stuff would arrive as safe as possible.

Supervisor sent text message to let me know that the crew would be late due to a personnel change. Crew arrived 90 minutes late. Once there they worked efficiently and did a good job. I hired them to pack, load, and unload. They were a bit careless with how they stacked certain boxes. i.e. putting a heavy box on top of a partially filled box, but nothing got damaged. Overall they did a good job and my stuff arrived safely.

Prompt communication with the manager Eric. Charles and Charles arrived on time to work. I planned to assist with the move (as we were already packed), but I worked more than anticipated. Small tactical moving choices such as filling up an elevator before going down, were not second nature to the movers. They were to bring wrap, but only had a small roll which was not helpful for the large pieces of furniture.
The manager Eric, however, was very helpful with the final invoices and refunded an amount for a small tear in one of the pieces of furniture. All we really needed were two guys to move the bigger pieces of furniture, and they did, but when paying this much money, recognizing that it mostly goes to the company, I expect better workers, as I've had in the past.

Guys were good and carful moving the furniture. There add states they provide blankets, and other things for moving, but it was just a couple guys and a moving dolly. If I didn't scramble to get blankets, tape and bubble wrap it would of been a waste of time.
Overall if your looking for a couple big guys to move your stuff, I would use them again.

They were very capable and efficient in their work. Pleasant and easy to work with. Brought shrink wrap as they said also boxes and tape. Took good care in wrapping furniture. I would use their services again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Relief & professionalism. They also can expect to get more items in their POD or Pack-rat / Rental Truck than they expected. They should expect to save a bunch of money on PODS and the Amount of PODS they need to move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A Early arrival & communication. A day %100 dedicated to getting their job done in a efficient time with no damages or mistakes.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have blankets! If you are renting a POD or Pack-Rat Be sure to tell them to throw 1-2 dozen blankets in the container before its delivered. Most of the time they don't even charge you. Also gather any washable blankets , sheets or towels we can use for protection... This way you don't have to break the bank on blankets. We also have started to use Boxes from Home depot. Lowes or Walmart. We can cut the boxes open and use them for TV crating, protection of Glass & Surfaces for stacking.
What types of moves have you handled?
NYC jewelry store to LA, NYC home building associations , residential moves, Las Vegas Convention Center (Santee Cosmetics), Oz mannequins + Commercial Appliance Moves. I also moved Rosie O'donnel & Michelle Rounds & many other celebs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
New scenery & meeting cool. interesting nice people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We watch you tube moving self help videos to stay fresh & consider new techniques to add to our skill sets. We also stretch daily & incorporate cardio into our lives to stay conditioned.
