Movers showed up late but luckily my truck rental took long also so it worked out. They were nice and since one mover did not show up for work I took apart all of the furniture to help them. I had a lot to do and was promised they would wrap everything and pack the truck well so I went about my business and left them alone. Mentioned a few times about wrapping and they told me they did it outside. Like another person this started off fine but as the day continued the service got worse. I didn't know this until my arrival in FL from NJ when the movers here began to take things off that were not wrapped, protected, or packed safely. My $800 desk was ruined, furniture gouged, and now I am dealing with writing a summary and claim to Hire a Helper. Over $3000 worth of damage minimum. So unless you have all day to supervise the moving crew and make sure they do what they are supposed to do go hire a true moving company instead of getting someone from hire a helper. I used them because the price was better but I should have paid the added $500 to a true professional moving company that will stick by their word. You get what you pay for I guess. If you decide to have anyone move you must ask for an insurance certification up front, also with the owner as an additional insured along with proof of insurance covering their work as professional movers so you have a shot at recovery if they decide to get lazy and just start throwing things on the truck. It was a very frustrating situation to deal with after 2 days and 1400 miles of driving. It really sucks opening your moving truck to so much damage. I even gave them a tip. Feel like I got something stolen because I trusted them for their word. Be careful if you decide to use these people and strongly consider someone else.

The crew was 15 min late which is not a big deal. They did handle some of the furniture a little rough which caused some scratches but other than that they were pretty good

These group of guys were beyond my expectations. They were on time, MORE than prepared, worked their butts off for 7 hours + straight, extremely respectful of everything in our home. I seriously can't say enough good things about the 4 of them. They shrink wrapped every single item for me, disassembled time consuming and difficult IKEA furniture, my kids bedroom sets, crib, etc., without a single complaint. They were so patient and accommodating (as we changed our minds about things 10 times with what we were moving or disassembling). They were extremely personable, making the day much more enjoyable than any move could have gone. Exceptional service and I look forward to seeing them again in a few months for our next move! Look no further, these are the guys to use!!!!!!!!!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Relief & professionalism. They also can expect to get more items in their POD or Pack-rat / Rental Truck than they expected. They should expect to save a bunch of money on PODS and the Amount of PODS they need to move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A Early arrival & communication. A day %100 dedicated to getting their job done in a efficient time with no damages or mistakes.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have blankets! If you are renting a POD or Pack-Rat Be sure to tell them to throw 1-2 dozen blankets in the container before its delivered. Most of the time they don't even charge you. Also gather any washable blankets , sheets or towels we can use for protection... This way you don't have to break the bank on blankets. We also have started to use Boxes from Home depot. Lowes or Walmart. We can cut the boxes open and use them for TV crating, protection of Glass & Surfaces for stacking.
What types of moves have you handled?
NYC jewelry store to LA, NYC home building associations , residential moves, Las Vegas Convention Center (Santee Cosmetics), Oz mannequins + Commercial Appliance Moves. I also moved Rosie O'donnel & Michelle Rounds & many other celebs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
New scenery & meeting cool. interesting nice people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We watch you tube moving self help videos to stay fresh & consider new techniques to add to our skill sets. We also stretch daily & incorporate cardio into our lives to stay conditioned.
