The workers showed up an hour late to move. 15 minutes into explaining what needed to be stored on the truck and placed for different location drops one of the workers remarked, "this is too much to move and this isn't going to fit on the truck"! They both took 20 minutes to determine if they could move the washer/dryer and it took getting stern at them for it to be accomplished. They took 2 smoke breaks that weren't noticed until they had finished the break. My wife and I moved a number of heavy items as they moved "extremely slow" and we were on a tight schedule for both the truck rental and driving over 500 miles to the first destination in Georgia. Upon arrival at our first destination (our apartment rental) one of the workers approached the truck I was driving and advised he was going to the gas station around the corner to get a drink and have another smoke! His partner noticed about 10 minutes into moving items from the truck into the apartment he was missing and asked where he went. I told him in a frustrated voice he just left. Would not use this company again. Then they charged an additional $27.50 for items we already had there for use (tape, furniture wrap) after I had released the funds through Hire a Helper.
Team leader were advising you that size of truck may not fit everything, it's just a heads up just in case so you take priority items first..
Regarding the smoke time break movers gave you 15 minutes at the end free of charge.
Materials we used was 1 roll of shrink wrap, and 3 roll of tapes, it was not your materials, this is our materials, and we charge on it to use after we finish your materials.

Antoine and James were on time and ready to go. Unfortunately, weather and traffic delayed our arrival by one hour. They hit the ground running as soon as the truck arrived, and we got it unloaded in the specified time (plus one hour for our delay). They were both careful and respectful of our items (and the older apartment we were moving into, which was a challenge), and quickly understood the layout of the apartment we were moving into and where furniture and boxes needed to go. They both had a great attitude, and they worked hard to complete the job. We would certainly use Best Movers again!
