They were on time. They were prepared. They put in a very good effort. They were respectful to us. Our only disappointment was that there was some damage and that the truck was loaded top-heavy. Heavy items in small boxes were loaded in high spots on the truck.

I just moved from Arizona Thursday night and its been an experience. I have to say that I am not happy but upset with this company. I booked them Friday night and they agreed to 12 to 1 help to unload my truck. I spoke to them a few times during the day and they had other jobs to complete. I said to let me know what time when I called them back around 3. I decided to go to the storage and complete my paperwork before it closed at 5. I started emptying the truck since I hadn't heard from them. At 4:49 pm I texted and called to see where they were at and what time to expect them. They finally called back and said they were 1 hour away. Really!!!!! My driver had a few words for them and we said just forget it. As a result of this unprofessionalism I had anxiety and crying attacks at the storage. Hireahelper called me and set up another moving company who responded immediately and came to my rescue after the E&G movers didn't show up as booked. Shameful and pathetic. If you couldn't accept the job you should have said so and I had allllll day to find a company who could have been there at a specific time. Thanks for such a wonderful welcome to San Antonio. Smh. Hi Miss Taylor. You booked at 2:00 a.m. Saturday. We didn't accept the job until we spoke to you which was around 10:00 a.m. You and I agreed that the job was going to be after 4:00 p.m. and I was gonna let you know when the crew was going to be available 30:00 minutes before. You agreed to it and even called me 2 more times double checking that we were gonna take care of you and you said don't worries take your time as long as you were scheduled. The crew called you around 4:30 and a man answered yelling at them and cussing them out. They called me letting me know what had happened and I called you and the same happened to me. A man answered the phone yelling at me and didn't let me talk to you. We are the ones that cancelled on you. Not the other way around. We always give respect to anyone and we don't have time for people without education making racist comments. We are not racists in San Antonio. You are not in Arizona anymore. I thank God I didn't get to know you or that other man that sound African-American. It's so sad that in these days people still making those comments. For all the customers that are reading these I do have prove of all this. (Recorded calls)

Was led to believe that there was a 3 hour minimum. Allowed for 5 hrs but only took 2. Why am I not charged for 3 hours as agreed to. E and G movers did a great job but my beef is with Hire a Helper as they did not make clear about the charges. Guess they know how to play the game and I do not. But I do now. My advice is to not use Hire a Helper but go directly to a moving company. End result is that I paid for 5 hrs and got 2 but they sure grab the money. Beware and know how these slick operators operate. NOT happy!!!

The helpers were fast, efficient and courteous. They were running late, but I received 2 phone calls with updates on their estimated arrival times. They sent 3 men, rather than the standard 2-man crew, and I did not get charged extra. I definitely would recommend them!

The young men did a wonderful job. They showed up within the appointment window. They were very respectful of the job, though it was quite small. They handled all my things with care. I would use this company again if need be.
