Second's Movers did an awesome job! They were right on time (early even!) and got right to work. I showed them everything I needed loaded in the trailer and they immediately went to work and strategized putting things in the trailer in a way to utilize the space best. They were very polite and respectful. I can't say enough good things about them!

The movers were both fantastic! They did a great job and moved everything very quickly. However, they did not arrive at the agreed upon time. The company called me the morning of the move at 6:30 am (when the movers were supposed to arrive at 7-8 am) to tell me one mover called out sick and they wouldn’t be able to get to my place until 9:30. Punctuality was very important since I had to drive 16+ hours. So that was somewhat disappointing.

I have used Hire A Helper many times in the past and I must say: this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. They were late, unenthusiastic about providing a service, property was not treated well, left almost half of my possessions and I was forced to drive to Charlotte NC to unload and return to Jacksonville NC for the remainder of my possessions then drive back to Charlotte all due to the incompetence of 2 individuals that were sent to my home. Needless to say this was not a pleasant experience: but it was an expensive experience due to the lack of unprofessional employees sent to my home. Never again!

Second Movers was amazing! They were on time, moved everything I asked, and after moving everything they offered to help assemble some furniture since we had some time left over. They went above and beyond and I’d definitely hire them again
