Both Dominique and Pete were excellent! They were on time, called before they arrived. Took a look at everything we wanted to move and started working. They worked very hard and finished the job on time. They filled up the POD in such a way that everything we had packed and wanted to move to the POD fit in the POD! They are excellent individuals very respectful and hard working people. I would recommend them both and I will contact them in the future. Overall an A++++++++ job!

This guys shows up on time, knew exactly what to do and got to work. They loaded and unloaded us for our move and, in total, only took 1 1/2 hours to get it done! They were very conscience of being careful with our furniture and actually disassembled and assembled some items as well. Could not recommend them more!

My moving labor helpers, Kevin and Ron, rocked. They were on time, polite, conscientious and worked hard the entire time. In a former life, I moved furniture for a living and have an appreciation for how hard it is so I really appreciated how careful they were not to damage anything. And, they didn't. That's pretty rare in any move. There were some challenging pieces, too, like a really large solid maple armoire that had to make it down narrow basement steps. They did it, though. I would use them again in a heart beat. As a usually dedicated self-mover, I have to say these guys were some of the best money I've ever spent.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
