The two men showed up EXACTLY at 10:00 as requested. They were polite, efficient, and packed the truck in the most organized way I have ever seen. Everett and Jarris (the two movers) were great!

I have given this a lot of thought and after thinking about it over a couple of weeks it still irratates me. I found HireAHelper online and it was very friendly and welcoming when I booked the helpers. I even got a call from a gentleman whose name I can not recall but it was very friendly and assuring that the move was going to be smooth. When the helpers showed up they were hearing impaired. I am not discriminating over handicapped people but I would of liked a little warning. One of them could somewhat hear and the other could not hear. I had them scheduled for 2 hours and I spent most of the 2 hours writing down on a notepad of what i wanted to be moved into the pod first and so on. These guys looked like they have never packed a pod before. Since I was under such a short time I had to get them packed because the pods were being picked up that day. I had to even call a friend and **** near unpack both pods and repack the pods to get everything in. I let the two helpers leave at their 2 hour mark. This was just very frustrating and I wish I would of known that the helpers were hearing impaired. I could of gotten more done with day laborers from Home Depot and would of been better off with a language barrier than a hearing barrier. I speak some spanish that helps me get by from time to time.
Long story short I will never use this service again.

We hired them to move heavy items including a piano, which they knew about ahead of time and we paid extra for. When they showed up, they had a flat furniture dolly and nothing else and proceeded to tell us they couldn't move the piano. To their credit, I convinced them that we could do it ourselves and after some slight damage, we loaded it on the truck. I wonder why I spoke with the dispatcher ahead of time specifically about the piano and where it needed to be moved if they "couldn't " do it. Otherwise, they worked hard and well.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
I am typically on jobs during the day so it is easier for me to text new clients. If I don't hear back then I will give them a call as soon as I am available.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
I'd like to think we are fun and hard working bunch of guys. We enjoy this type of work and you'll notice that our attitude are mostly positive.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure everything is packed and ready to go. Label every boxes and mark anything that is fragile. If there isn't plenty of street parking, reserve adequate space for moving truck or storage containers.
What types of moves have you handled?
We offer residential and commercial, for both local and long distance move.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and going to new places on a daily basis.
What training do you provide your crew members?
I have about 25 years experience in this industry and I personally train every crew members until I am confident they can go out on jobs without me.
