Mark and Ben from Baby Huey's Moving were courteous, well-prepared, hard-working and effective. They carefully wrapped and protected my furniture and other items. They also loaded the Pack-Rat/Estes trailer very efficiently, which was important since the move cost is based on the space used in the trailer.

They did an excellent job! They contacted me shortly after booking and confirmed the appointment. The guys showed up on time, called me beforehand to let me know they were on their way, wrapped everything, loaded it into the pods, secured it, and really gave good service. There are alot of companies out there and it's kind of a crap shoot on who you pick and what you get, I'm sure most are good, but you don't know till they show up, if you want to make sure you have no worries use Baby Huey's Moving!

They arrived on time and with twice as many movers as we had requested, but did not charge extra for this as it was the team they were using for the day and so was more convenient for them to all come, I suppose. They were curteous and hard-working and were prepared with tape and plastic wrap and dollies. The reason for bad rating was because they were not careful with our furniture and boxes in the way they packed them. We we loading into a storage POD to be transported across the country and then stored for six months and so we felt it was important to make sure the POD was packed well to account for movement and long-term storage. However, this team seemed to prioritize speed more than care, and they were very fast in getting our boxes and furniture into the POD, but they loaded it so poorly that my husband and I had to later restack what we could, and leave a lot of it the way it was because it was stacked too high and balanced so precariously. We worked for hours on this after the movers left and our maneuvering and retying of the straps to keep items in place made a big difference in protecting most items. If we had left it the way the movers had packed the POD would not have survived the transport well and many things would have been damaged. As it is the damage was minimal but could have been prevented had it been packed well. For instance sharp-edged heavy furniture was placed directly on top of the couch cushion, which damaged the fabric through the plastic wrap. We provided blankets, too for the furniture but these were used incorrectly by the movers, they would put two pieces of furniture next to each other with the one non-blanketed side touching the other non-blanketed side. So every hard piece of furniture was scratched even though it was covered because of bad placement. Bottom line, we wish the movers had used some common sense and more care and less speed when loading. We would not use these movers again and are hesitant to hire any movers now, knowing that this attitude is common. I would rather have paid more time for a job well done, than a hasty job that caused us hours of work, stress, and worry and damage to almost every piece of furniture a some boxes.

This was the first time I had used external movers to help me with my valuables. I had heard of the horrific stories from friends and internet regarding the damage that happens during such moves.
Baby Hueys was accommodating, extremely efficient and packed my contents with utmost care. I would recommend them to any person who intends to hire a helper.

We will reach out to provide you excellent service from start to finish. We will listen to your needs and act to get your move taken care of as smooth as possible
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will call/text you in route to your location, set home protection down to ensure no damage to property. Disassemble your furniture/appliances. Blanket and shrink wrap them, load/unload, and full set up
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure if we need to bring any packing materials for tvs, lamps, glass tops, pictures/mirrors, or mattress covers. If not have everything off the tops of furniture. Put all important documents, money, jewelry in your car prior to our arrival, Put all personal items you want to move in one location/area

What training do you provide your crew members?
12 hours of packing with trainer, 12 hours of prepping furniture, and 6months minimum before they can become a driver/crew leader. Most of our crew leaders have been with us 5-10years.
