After a very successful and efficient loading process in GA, the unloading process was not a great experience. Firstly, the crew was late due to over running on a previous job. At least two hours late. The loading had taken 3 hours and after 3 hours unloading only half the van was unloaded. They wanted to continue but we agreed for them to be back next morning at 9am at a storage location. This was also confirmed overnight. They never turned up, and told us they had to take a contractual job first. Every two hours they delayed it another two hours. By about 3pm we gave up. Very poor service and would not recommend them to anyone.
We had to contact Hire a Helper to get another crew for Monday morning. This new company was great and went out of their way to help us.

Our two movers called ahead to let us know of their arrival time. They were here when we requested.
They were polite and worked hard. We finished just within the time we had planned.
Sometimes the desire to empty the container quickly was their priority rather than letting us guide them on what we wanted done.
I would rate care for the furniture about a 3. I had to point out several times when it was not being treated with care.

You will have great communication with the company. You'll receive top of the line dedicated Movers to help you professionally load your, pod containers, rental truck, semi-truck trailer or unloading help. We make sure customer receives 100% satisfaction.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will receive a phone call or text message the day before the move. The team leader will contact you the day of the move to let you know the expected arrival time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We ask for customer to have all boxes packed and ready. If tools are needed to disassemble furniture, please let us know ahead of time.
What types of moves have you handled?
Prestige Movers handles local & long distance moves (we love long distance), commercial, office, events, same place relocation, evictions, and much more.
