I feel that they could have fit all my belongings into the two pods. After they left I was able to get more items in the pod. The crew I had yesterday was able to get more packed and said that the two additional pods were sufficient to pack the rest It seemed that they just wanted to get out of here quickly.

Rigo's movers did a great job unloading our POD. They handled the furniture nicely and were very efficient. They showed up on time and finished the job in the slotted timeframe. They even helped troubleshoot the door to th POD as it was stuck and hard to open but they managed to help me open it. I would definitely use them again for my next move.

The movers worked quickly and efficiently, finishing our demanding (between two second floor apartments in different buildings, one with a switchback staircase, and on an incredibly hot day) move ahead of schedule. They showed care with our furniture and items, and they did not damage anything or ding any walls/doors in the apartments. When asked to do things in a specific order or asked to help out with something we were moving, they were quick to say yes and accomplish the task. Highly recommended if you need fantastic movers.

Hired Rigo's Moving through Pack Rat. Due to my time constrains and ability to pack everything on my own (I'm 67). I was planning to have Rigo's do most of the individual item packing and loading. Thus, it was difficult to estimate the actual time required. After discussing the type and quantities of items, Rigo's suggested four hours for packing and three for loaded, and possibly a second day. And, if I required more hours they could be added. At the time of negotiating, I did not have access to their contract terms. They made it seem as if the hours were an estimate and the final billing would reflect actual hours required. The Rigo rep also stated, if I need additional hours, they may not be available due to scheduling of other jobs. So I scheduled the seven hours, hoping if needed could add the second day.
So, due to the overall stress, I pushed myself to pack as much as I could bear. I had completed 95% of the packing.
When Rigo's crew showed up, they just had a few furniture items to wrap up with furniture blankets and bubble wrap. The crew did damaged a sewing machine cabinet while bringing it down a flight of stairs. I saw it as they wrapped it outside. (They said nothing, until I spoke up).
They completed the loading within three hours. Upon finishing, the crew foreman had me sign a document in which he filled in the actual starting and ending time (8:ooam to 11:ooam) and required I also initial the time as stated.
Because of the documentation of the hours, I expected a reduction of the "estimated seven hours". When I contacted Pack Rat for the final invoice, the rep stated he would request Rigo to reduce the "final invoice. Rigo "REFUSED TO CHANGE THE FINAL INVOICE".

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.
