They came on just a few hours notice when my husband decided he needed help unloading our trailer full of furniture. They were very fast and efficient.

The two guys who came out to load my POD were very friendly and helpful. My biggest problem with this whole experience is that they came unprepared due to no fault of their own I presume. When I called to confirm my order, I had asked the gentleman on the phone about how they usually wrap and store furniture. He mentioned stretch wrap and furniture pads. He had a list of items that I needed moved. I told him to make sure the movers would come with any supplies that they would need and I would pay for it all. The movers showed up with nothing! No rope, no throw away blankets, no stretch wrap. I drove to U-Haul to pick up some blankets and they used towels and rugs that I had lying around. Very unorganized. The guys did break one floor lamp and never mentioned it to me. I noticed it after they left. My POD has not arrived yet, so I am praying that I won’t discover more damage.

Four men completed a heavy move in the two hours planned on for three. (There were four because they were coming from a really large job close to mine.) It was good to have extra help, but that many were obviously too difficult for this lead man to co-ordinate.
I had planned for four office chairs and an ocassional chair to be shipped in the five boxes that I purchased specifically for them (knowing it would cost in extra room). They didn't think that was necessary (and seemed more personally concerned with packing things in less room than following my directions). That choice they made resulted in no damage. However, I specifically told one of the men to ship the brand-new, $1,000+ lift chair in its original shipping box. I had saved it since my recent purchase and even carried it into the house from the garage, and set it behind the chair for that purpose. That requirement was not communcated to the man who carried the 89# chair out on his back. Fortunately, it too was not damaged.
However, the $3,500 twin, extra-long mattresses were damaged by being placed on the floor instead of with the open end of the extra-large, plasitic bed covers up. They both had black grease marks on one end, AND the men somehow lost the eight special casters, for which I had to spend about $50 to replace. (Some of the bolts were also missing from an office chair another man disassembled.) I now wish that I had not paid the extra charge for the PRO service, and for having tipped them $100 for their work.
Nevertheless, the owner aptly handled the scheduling of the move, including my need to set it back a week just a few days before the original move date. I would do business with this mover again but require more control over the person in charge of the crew. This group leader was more concerned with packing everything in 14 feet instead of the 17 I had calculated, then properly handling the men. He also locked the ABF special lock without placing it through the truck eyes meaning that I had to leave my possessions on the street unlocked all weekend.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
your move team contacts you 30-40 minutes prior to arrival. Time starts upon arrival- not before. Your Team lead is an expiernced mover and your move team is a vetted and trained moving team
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Boxes, boxes and more boxes. Have your items ready for load. Larger items and furniture we will manage when on site
What types of moves have you handled?
From next door to the house around the block to interstate moves to each of the 48 contiguous states & Cananda. Then somewhere in between too,
