I hired the movers to load a truck only. The movers showed up early, were polite, and moved fairly quickly. However, what I was paying them for was safely packing my belongings in the truck for a cross-state, and on that they were woefully lacking. The back of the truck looked like they threw the last items in there, and despite their assurance that nothing would break and nothing would shift, things both broke and shifted (but because I didn't include *everything* in the ponderous and annoying insurance inventory, the ones that were broken are not covered). The movers who unpacked my stuff upon arrival (2 Men and a Truck, very helpful, very professional) were very surprised at how some of the packing was done... and not in a good way.
Notwithstanding the poor packing, the company was prompt, professional, and comparably priced... but what I was most interested in was the packing of my stuff for safe transport! If you book with them, I suggest you play an active role in where things get loaded into the truck... or buy the insurance.

DO NOT USE!!! One of the two movers was either illegal or not prepared. The individual didn't not have any identification on him to get onbase. What eneded up happening was one mover unloaded everything to my new place. Which ended up scuffing the wall, damaging the furniture and mattress pad. This was supposed to be quick what should have taken less than an hour took three. No i didn't have to pay for the extra time but this was a huge inconvience. When the individual left he asked me not to call an complain. Well I called the woman that answered the phone could have cared less. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

My case is moving out from a one bed room apartment in the 4th floor without elevator. I boxed everything(two people's stuff) myself. They sent me two young guys who showed up on time, moved quickly and worked non-stop. They also paid attention on not to scratch or damage furniture and walls. I would use them again.

Ok, so they were about 15 minutes late... but they did call well in advance and told me. The one guy's name was Dominic... didn't catch the other one's name - but both were wonderful! Very careful, very polite, VERY FAST!! Could not recommend these guys more!

These guys got out of their van ready to work. I basically showed them the place and stayed inside as they brought items in I told them which room..... I was pleased that they unloaded my POD, set-up my bed, dresser mirrors, kitchen table, etc. were loaded and gone in just over an hour...... I was impressed with their service and will use them on my next moving adventure.

Summary: job done well, beating the deadline.
I hired two workers from MD Expert Movers to move my belongings from a storage facility into these portable storage units that were then shipped to my new home in Denver.
The storage facility was very large and had entrances and many streets. I told them in advance which entrance to use, and they showed up early.
They started right away, had the dollies and furniture dollies, and ended up finishing the job early. They took care of my things, including some odd items that were hard to place.

I do not have enough wonderful things to say about MD Expert Movers! We had the unfortunate timing of moving the same day as superstorm Sandy was due to make her appearance, and Dominique and Kevin arrived early and ready to get right to work. They took quick inventory of everything and were careful with my belongings while moving with lightning speed. They were able to load and unload my entire house in the alloted time frame and still beat the storm. They were polite and courteous and (although do not plan to move any time soon) I would not hesitate to use MD Expert Movers again!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
