The two guys that came were really friendly and helpful. The moving was fairly seemless and although I paid for three hours, my time went over by like 15 minutes and they didn't charge us for the extra time given they promised to be done. We tipped them a much larger sum to make up for it.
My advice though, be honest with yourself about how long the moving will take.

They arrived on time.
The movers were efficient in loading and unloading, but their haste caused them to damage several items. Although they were quick I would not recommend them due to the damage to they caused.
My follow up with the company was slow. The person I dealt with placed the blame for the damage on me.

GREAT communication - confirmed twice and called to advise of traffic day of move. Brought equipment requested and were generally respectful of my home and goods. However, several boxes were left upside down despite "this end up" markings, and I cringed a few times as items/boxes/my mattress were dropped/slid onto my hardwood floors/ granite countertops and scraped my newly painted walls. Also found several boxes stacked on top of the key to my rental truck...after freaking out, searching for hours, and discussing the finer points of towing a 16 foot keyless truck with Penske...not fun. It also took them almost 1.5 hours longer to unload the truck than it took another company to load it, which didn't make sense given the building logistics. So, generally pleased, but would review other companies' ratings for care and speed before hiring again.

I would definitely use MD Expert Movers again. Dominique and his partner did a great job. They got there a little early and were very prepared. They worked hard and straight through. I have been with some movers that have burned me and I've paid a lot of money. I am so pleased with the treatment I received and the fairness. They explained to me how much it was going to cost to move my furniture and that was the cost. Nothing extra. I definitely recommend this company.

MD Expert Movers were easy to use and book and quite affordable too! Dominique and Carlos were extremely polite and excellent help when unloading our truck.

Dominique and Carlos gave me a call on the way so that I can be prepared for the move and as soon as they arrived, they started working and kept working until we finished. Non-stop for four hours!!! They had everything such as dollies and blanket and made full use of them. They are very skilled to fit everything in the truck logistically.

They arrived at the scheduled time - on the dot - which was very helpful. However, I had requested they bring furniture pads and wrapping, which they did not do. I also got the impression that they were not being as efficient as possible so they could charge for an additional hour. Overall, however, I would recommend this company, as they were easy to work with.

These guys were good, they were flexible when i was a little late, and did everything within the two hours and were willing to stick around a little after to help, even after i told them they could go. I would recommend them and use them again.

They were very fast and efficient. My roommate and I were moving to separate locations, and we both hired MD Expert movers. They ended up sending one truck for both of us. They first moved my roommate then me. There were a little delayed, but kept me up to date when they were coming over and started counting the hour once they arrived. They managed to get everything done in the time that was requested. Very polite, very efficient and very fast. They also thought of places to put the furniture in places that made sense. Next move, I'll be sure to go straight to them.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
