This crew did a great job! While they arrived late due to traffic, I think that was less their fault and more poor planning from the company's end of things. The guys showed up very apologetic for their tardiness but we were contacted several times while they were on the road so we knew what what going on. Once they were there, they were ready to go and did not stop until the job was done. Many thanks for a job well done!

I hired two movers to move my apartment furniture into a high rise building. There was a bit of confusion, and the guys arrived an hour early at 2pm (I wasn't there yet), but after they called managment they quickly agreed that the appointment was at 3pm. They skillfully navigated the crazy small elevator to get my things safely to my apartment- even the couch, which I was sure would have to be carried up the stairs! Overall, I was very pleased.

I would use these movers again. They arrived a little later than the scheduled time but got the job done in the required time. The gentlemen who arrived were friendly and polite, and got straight to business with no breaks or stalling. I believe that they could have used more padding with the more fragile objects, but all in all, I was satisfied with these movers.

While I was unhappy with the actual moving service, I was even more angry in the days following my move. The movers showed up an hour late, broke two picture frames and the leg of a table, and one box of kitchen items is missing. This, however, was nothing compared to an inability to speak with someone at MD Expert movers to try to at least get my last box delivered. They didn't return voicemails, didn't answer the phone and then were rude and unhelpful when I did reach them. I would never use them again and would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
