The owner of the company was cool about accommodating an earlier arrival time. He actually did the job with another employees who seemed inexperienced. It seemed like the owner was in a hurry and his employee was argumentative with him. So there was some tension that I really didn’t feel comfortable with in my home.
I have an antique dinning room table that they didn’t offer to unwrap or assemble.
I paid $315 for two hours of work and the owner remarked he didn’t think this job would take as long; they left in under two hours, I was relieved when they left.

Arrived early and hired to pack and place items and furniture in POD for an out-of-state move. Did an okay job and should have finished in the time allotted (5 hours) but didn't (even with extra help they provided free). Had them hired to come back another day to fill second POD and cancelled. Hired another company to finish and found they placed some items with glass directly in the POD without sufficient wrapping or protection. Some okay things some eh things but I wouldn't use this company again.

Ended up with one piece of furniture badly damaged. It was scratched due to setting a piece of furniture directly on to the top of an end table. Screws were exposed on the piece of furniture placed on top. If I had been informed of the screws being exposed secondary to moving the item, we certainly would not have packed that item.

Systematic approach to complete tasks
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Disassemble beds, cribs, move everything possible from 2nd or third floor to the ground floor or closer to main entrance. Disconnect the washer and dryer and all electronics. Dismount TVs from walls and TV mounts.
What types of moves have you handled?
Commercial, residential, livestock, container, ships,trains, prep, load and unload. Livestock.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The ability to complete a job knowing I did the best i could.
What training do you provide your crew members?
2 weeks. Week 1-Loading procedures, tie downs, mix, and straight loads, box, container, ship, and train. Claims. Week 2- Unload, packing, unpacking, wrapping and staging. Damage control. Customer expectation. transfer loads.
