We've used Uhaul for multiple moves, and they are always easy to work with and have lots of locations to pick up and drop off.

the u haul truck was just that. a u haul truck that got 6 - 8 mpg. not very comfortable but got the job done

We rented a 26' moving truck, 2022 Ford F650 gas and a trailer to haul our auto. Fuel mileage was 8mpg, not sure if a diesel would be any better, but more torque could have helped.

Fairly easy to rent the truck, our moving crew loaded it quite well, and we drove it on the ferry and over to our new destination.

Trucks really need servicing, Engine light came on, Very loud on the inside during the drive,

Truck did not have A.C.

It's difficult to rate but began with having to book an auto transport and a truck separately which was very inconvenient. Doing a one way rental also seemed inconsistent among employees. I couldn't get any information about overnight parking although I called several locations and the general customer service number. I ended up having to pay extra for parking because of this instead of the standard uhaul fee. If I could rate Illinois locations separately, Morton uhaul 5/5, East Peoria uhaul 3/5, Avondale uhaul 1/5

Truck had almost 80K miles and a tire out of balance on the back...made it a bit of an annoying ride. Don't expect anywhere close to the 12 MPG they claim on the website, I averaged 8.5 - 9.5 MPG depending on the state I purchased the fuel, the truck is a gas hog, no real issues...just be prepared for a 200 dollar fill up every 375-385 miles.

Good size truck the 26’

It was an old truck that felt old.

We drove a 20' Uhaul half way across the country towing a car with a 60lb dog in the middle seat. I can't say it was the most fun experience, but it was much cheaper to the other alternatives. The truck got around 7.3 mpg and had difficulties with inclines along I80. I would recommend getting the 26' truck as it has a larger engine in it which might have helped make things easier.

did the after hours pick up, the truck was dirty and missing the dolly I ordered but they were able to get one before I left. The truck ran well and drop off was a breeze.

Our first time renting and did not know that tie downs were not automatically supplied. So make sure you have them as the rental place was closed when we realized we didn't have anything.

Got the biggest truck, it went great

Twice now, our reservation for the size truck we wanted was unavailable ON the day we had reserved. The second time, we were not made aware of the "no show" previous use, non- return until we went to pick up the intended truck for our use. We ended up being sent to two more locations to finally secure a truck.

Had to use bigger truck than what I reserved, not by choice, they didn't have the one I reserved.

The seats overheated and it was an old truck. Other than that I was able to reach my destination with no issues.

The truck was kind of old and the seats seemed to be overheating but it was summer. Other than that I had no issues driving the 26' truck.

Newer 26 ft truck- very clean and easy to drive. Paperwork said it's supposed to get 10 mpg, but that must be under 55mph. We got a little over 7mpg.

They were ok. The 24/7 mobile service sucks - when your truck is fully boxed in by other trucks on arrival and the pads you paid for aren't there, you're going to be completely screwed if the store is closed. Fortunately I arrived a little before closing and the guys at the site were happy to take care of me.

Uhaul is always my go to for moving trucks. They are cheap, the trucks are well maintained, and they are almost always conveniently located.

You literally will not find a better value than uhaul if it is an option. They pretty much handle every moving need, and they do it for a very reasonable price.

26 ft truck drive nice. Car hauler wasn’t completely ready, rachitis needed lubing and a safety chain was missing.

They just did not have my truck at all.
